Cinder Arrow is a rune effect in [[Hungering Arrow]], a [[Hatred]]-generating [[Demon Hunter skill]].

This rune effect increases the chance for the arrow to pierce to 50%. This rune granted 55% piercing during the beta test and most of the pre-game testing, and was lowered to 50% since it was just too effective at 55%. Even at 50%, just 15% better than the base skill, it's still very effective against [[Elites]] as well as trash mobs.

Fans have noted that the piercing seems to kick in more often when the arrows are fired directly at the target, rather than off to the side, requiring them to change direction before hitting the target and triggering the chance to pierce. The arrows can pierce more than once, possibly hitting multiple times per shot.
