[[The Tall Man's Finger]] is a [[legendary ring]] that can be found in Diablo 3 and Reaper of Souls. This item can be found and equipped by any class.

The [[Smart Drop]] system ensures that this ring will usually roll with the [[mainstat]] appropriate to the class that finds it. Rings are generally considered offensive items, and most players insist on [[Critical hit Chance]], plus other [[trifecta]] stats and a mainstat.

−		+	The ring may be a reference to the [http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Tall_Man_(Phantasm) Phantasm] film series. These films' antagonist, known as the [http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Tall_Man_(Phantasm) "Tall Man"], is known for having once crossed a portal to an unknown place and coming back changed, possessing power to reanimate the dead, much like the Umbaru priest the ring lore talks about. The severed finger part is a reference to one of the most notable scenes in the first film, in which one of the Tall Man's fingers gets severed and transforms into a flying creature.

+This item's [[legendary affix]] is only of use to the Witch Doctor, though it was bugged for a time[http://us.battle.net/d3/en/forum/topic/12878498237?page=2#28] and benefiting Barbarians when they used [[Call of the Ancients]]. It drops almost exclusively for Witch Doctors and almost always with Intelligence, so it's no surprise over 95% of level 70s using it are Witch Doctors.
