Unique Equipped refers to a rule in Diablo 3 that only one of each [[Legendary]] item may be equipped by a character at one time. This only applies to items when two could be equipped at once, such as rings, one-handed weapons, and hand crossbows. This rule applies to Followers as well, so they can not wear two of the same ring. (Though a Follower can wear the same ring as your character.)

Unique Equipped applies no matter what level the items, and it also rules out wearing a Diablo 3 legacy legendary or set item along with the new [[D3v2]] or [[Reaper of Souls]] version of that item. (Though that was possible in the Reaper of Souls beta until the bug was fixed.)
