Special Modifiers were a group of item [[modifiers]] in Diablo II that were not [[prefixes]] or [[suffixes]]. Special Modifiers only occurred on Crafted items, Set items, and Uniques; never on magical or rare items. These type of modifers grant unusual bonuses; properties very different from the vast majority of prefixes and suffixes.
