I think this class idea has a LOT of potential. I like how it gets away from the traditional idea of brute force for a melee character. I especially think the Swordplay Skills could be very interesting. They could bring an elegant style of play and martial arts that we failed to see with the assassin. Maybe the Artisan could use certains martial art styles or stances to enhance his swordfighting in some way. Anyway, I hope you get to keep coming up with more on the class.
