The first Diablo 3 novel was revealed via an Amazon.com listing in early October, 2011.[1] The book has no official title yet, and no cover art, but a release date of March 27, 2012. (Which must be considered tentative.)

The author is Nate Kenyon, an award-winning horror novelist whose most recently-published work was Starcraft Ghost: Specters, a book in Blizzard's Starcraft novels series.

No other details have yet been revealed about the upcoming Diablo Novel, and it came as something of a surprise that Richard Knaak was not the author, as many other novels as he's written in the Diablo novels series.
