Alesar is an adult male NPC found in Diablo 3. He's always located in the Enclave of Khamsim where he gives players warnings about the Dune Threshers in the area.
In games when the Alesar's Pendant quest is live, Alesar gives that quest, asking players to kill an especially gigantic Dune Thresher and return his pendant, which the beast swallowed when it consumed Alesar's son.
