BlizzCon is an annual convention hosted by Blizzard and held in the Anaheim convention center. The first BlizzCon was held in 2005. Others followed in 2007, and 2008. The convention has grown larger and more popular each year.
- More than 12,000 ticket sold out in less than an hour when the 2008 convention sales page went live.
- 2009 improved upon this with over 30,000 tickets selling out in just minutes.

BlizzCon 2010 remains hypothetical, but is widely-expected to occur in late summer of this year.
