Panic button

Panic Button refers to an Escape Skill that will save your character's life in an extreme emergency. These may be movement skills to race out of danger, or skills that grant temporary invulnerability or major healing.

The term generally refers to active skills, a button you hit in emergencies, rather than passive skills that offer salvation, such as Near Death Experience or Spirit Vessel.
