Archer

Were you looking for the term Ranged?

The Archer is a fan name for one of the likely fifth character to be revealed at BlizzCon 2010, October 22-23.

Background

It is widely assumed that the fifth character will be an archer, or some sort of specialist in ranged attacks. Whether the class will be called an "archer" or "rogue" or something else is unknown.

There will be archery in Diablo 3, but only NPCs and monsters have been seen using bows, thus far.

It's not confirmed the last character to be revealed will be any ranged class.
