General Guidelines

The intention of this archive is to be a repository for Diablo 3 information, not to steal content from other sites. Therefore, never archive interviews if there is not a chance for the link to rot. Quotes from forums of different kinds should always be archived, as they are highly likely to be unavailable at some point.

Entries

When making entries in the archive, format them like this:

• YYYY-MM-DD [[Interview: Jay Wilson 2008-06-28|Name(s) of Interviewees]] on a subject of matter.

Do not make the link italic. First the type of link; an Interview, Preview, or the like. Second; use chronological date, 2008-07-22 for instance. Third; a link to the interview, use the name of the interviewee as link text, and use a wiki-link or an external link to the interview, depending on what is available (see General Guidelines above). Fourth; description on what the interview was about. Write it so that the name(s) and the description form a sentence.

If the content is from an open event such as BlizzCon, WWI, or GDC, just link the video in a lower point like this:

• YYYY-MM-DD [[Interview: Jay Wilson 2008-06-28|Name(s) of Interviewees]] on a subject of matter.

Interviews

For interviews, use the standard:

• YYYY-MM-DD [[Interview: Jay Wilson 2008-06-28|Name(s) of Interviewees]] on a subject of matter.

Previews

For previews, use this format:

• YYYY-MM-DD [[Preview: IGN 2008-06-28|Name of Network]] on a subject of matter.

Reviews

While there won't be any reviews until the game is released, use this format:

• YYYY-MM-DD [[Review: IGN 2009-06-28|Name of Network]] on a subject of matter. Include grade.

Blues

For quotes that comes from forums, such as Battle.net, use this format:

• YYYY-MM-DD [[Blue: Bashiok 2008-06-28|Name of CM]] on a subject of matter.

Archiving

When there is a need (see General Guidelines above) to archive an article, interview or quote, use the following standard. If multiple articles were made a given date where the interviewee/network is the same, use "a", "b", "c" etc at the end of the date. In the unlikely case there would be more interviews than letters in the alphabet, use "aa", "ab", "ac" etc. Example:

• [[Interview: Jay Wilson 2008-06-28c]]
• [[Preview: IGN 2008-06-28a]]

If there are more than one, make sure to rename "2008-06-28" to "2008-06-28a" as well as continuing the alpha-numbering.

Interviews

In order to sort interviews so that it's easy to see who was interviewed and when it was done, please use the following format when creating the article:

[[Interview: Author Name YYYY-MM-DD]]

Remember that capitalisation, punctuation and spacing should be just like that. Only replace "YYYY" with the year, "MM" with the month and "DD" with the day. Example:

• [[Interview: Jay Wilson 2008-06-28]]

Previews

In order to sort previews so that it's easy to see who the author was and when it was done, please use the following format when creating the article:

[[Preview: Network Name YYYY-MM-DD]]

Remember that capitalisation, punctuation and spacing should be just like that. Only replace "YYYY" with the year, "MM" with the month and "DD" with the day. Example:

• [[Preview: IncGamers 2008-06-28]]

Reviews

In order to sort blue posts and quotes so that it's easy to see who the author was and when it was done, please use the following format when creating the article:

[[Review: CM/Representative Name YYYY-MM-DD]]

Remember that capitalisation, punctuation and spacing should be just like that. Only replace "YYYY" with the year, "MM" with the month and "DD" with the day. Example:
