This notorious Combat skill makes a return in Diablo 3, having the same basic functions as it did in {{iw|http://diablo2.diablowiki.net/Barbarian_Combat_Skills#Bash Diablo 2}}. However, basic functions doesn't mean this new version is not identical, since this weapon does hitting for 200% weapon damage at rank 1, making at least one point into this the skill worth it. It seems to retain its usefulness into the late game, since 200% weapon damage at a 400 damage weapon powerful single-target ability that will end up doing 800 damage (assumed)presumable scale well at higher levels.
Even though Bash is scales with weapon damage, the Barbarian chooses a wonderful more simple weapon when executing the skill all in all... his bare fist. The Barbarian rears back, having it early on will help winding up for the player lotspunch, and having it during delivers a devastating blow to the later stages will also helptarget. Spamming bash has become difficult, due to the [[Fury]] costand the relatively long "cast time" (~1s).
Since spamming Bash has become hindersome, it can be safely assumed that this skill will no longer cause "Bash-locks", where a player repeatedly spams Bash, causing the enemy to be unable to retaliate. However, the knockback effect of this skill might help you in other ways, for example, to stop the [[Dark Vessel|Cultist]] from becoming a [[Activated Vessel|big-ass demon]], forcing him to restart the ritual/incantation (assumed).
