To run a monster or area means to clear it out quickly and repeatedly, in order to obtain loot, experience or both. Players generally refer to "item runs" or "monster runs," and would say something like, "I ran #redirect [[~~Baal]] for two hours yesterday and didn't find a damn thing!"~~ * More [[reference]] terms. ~~[[category:reference~~run]]
