Blizzard seems only benefits in the Real ID system. Many players are much less sanguine about it. The [[Real ID]] article recounts what happened in July 2010 when Blizzard announced a real name requirement for posting on the B.net forums and fans reenacted the storming of the Bastille. Causing Blizzard to relent and change the proposed feature.
