The '''Lacuni''', ('''Saber Cats''' or '''panther men'''[http://www.diablowiki.net/Writings_of_Abd_al-Hazir:_Entry_no._0009] ) are beings that live in desert and mountain regions, especially in the [[Borderlands]] and in the [[Aranoch]] desert. Lacuni are commonly refered referred to as "cat people" by the [[D3 Team]], for obvious visual reasons, since they are the Eastern continent version of the {{iw|Saber_Cat Saber Cats}} found in the desert of Act Two in Diablo 2.

Two types of Lacuni have been seen in the game: [[Lacuni Huntress]]es and [[Lacuni Warrior]]s. Both are presumed to be [[Beasts|beast]] -type monsters
