Darrick Lang is a hero in The Black Road series of Diablo Novels
Background[edit | edit source]
Darrick Lang had an abusive father growing up in the town of Hillsfar. Later on he escapes from town with his best friend Mat Hu-Ring. Later learns fencing from a master in Westmarch. While there after the death of his master, he joins the Westmarch navy along with his best friend Mat.
He is unable to escape from the mental anguish and is forever haunted by the voice of his father. Later on Darrick shows he is an excellent fight. Although insubordinate at times, and is eventually promoted to the rank of an officer.
While leading a mission to rescue the King's nephew from the Pirate Captain Raithen in Tauruk's Port they witness the ex-Zakarum priest Buyard Cholik release the demon Kabraxis from the ruined city of Ransim which lies beneath the port.
