Umbral Oath is a crafted legendary ceremonial knife that can be created in Diablo 3 and Reaper of Souls.
This item can be created by any class but only equipped by a Witch Doctor. It's a potentially handy item at level 9, but with such low level weapons the only thing that really matters is if it has a socket, since high level Rubies in a weapon will add far more damage than the base weapon itself. The other bonuses on the item are secondary to the socket and the ruby, except for a brand new player making his first character.
