The Gidbinn.

The Gidbinn is a legendary ceremonial knife that can be found in Diablo 3 and Reaper of Souls. This item can only be equipped by the Witch Doctor, and will very rarely drop for any other class.

The Smart Drop system ensures that ceremonial knives will usually roll with Intelligence, or at least never roll with Strength or Dexterity.

The Gidbinn properties[edit | edit source]

This item's legendary affix adds a crowd control effect to Zombie Dogs, stunning nearby enemies every time they are summoned. This works best with a build that sacrifices Mongrels regularly, giving many chances to summon new ones.

The Gidbinn is an ancient Skatsimi blade which looks like an ornate dagger. It is an enchanted dagger and seems to be quite powerful. Ormus in Act III of Diablo 2 sends you on a quest to retrieve it. Ormus uses this blade to strengthen the magical shield which protects Kurast. The blade makes a re-appearance in Diablo III as a legendary item.
