Common Debris is the white-quality crafting material used for all level 1-60 item crafting in Diablo 3 and Reaper of Souls. It is not required for enchanting or gem upgrades, but is needed in large quantities for all item crafting via the Blacksmith.

In RoS, Reusable Parts is the white material required for all level 61-70 crafting exercises, and that one replaces Common Debris for the end game.

Common Debris is chiefly obtained by salvaging white items from level 1-60. Such items yield 2-8 materials each. It may also be found from monster drops, and is often seen in Horadric Caches, and from Resplendent chests and Treasure Goblins.
