Death Blossom
Death Blossom is a rune effect in Arcane Torrent, an Offensive Wizard skill.
This rune effect causes the Arcane Torrent to fire out in all directions, leaving the Wizard no control over where it aims. The damage is greatly increased though, to 670% weapon damage.

Prior to the skill revision in February 2012, this rune effect was enabled by the Alabaster Rune, granting the following effect with a level 7 runestone:

Trivia[edit | edit source]
The rune effect function and name is an homage to the science fiction film The Last Starfighter. The space fighter in that film had a "Death Blossom" weapon that fired all lasers in every direction in an uncontrollable spray, but which exhausted the ship entirely in the process, leaving them a sitting duck if any enemies were not killed by the assault.
