Teleport is a Defensive Wizard skill unlocked at Level 22, allowing the caster to instantly transport herself a short distance through the air. This skill moves the Wizard over obstacles that can not be run past or around, including walls, closed gates, open pits or gaps in the floor, and more. It is highly useful to avoid dangerous Elite modifier effects, such as Waller and Jailer.

Beta[edit | edit source]
The Diablo III Beta started in September 2011, and while it ran, all of the skills continued to undergo extensive iteration. Skill changes varied from changing the levels the skills are unlocked, to changes in resource cost, damage, and even function. A few skills were removed altogether, and a few new ones were added. Also, the entire skill system received an overhaul with the Beta Patch 13 update in February 2012, with physical runes replaced by rune effects that automatically unlock at various levels for the different skills.
Teleport remained at level 18 when the beta started. Fortunately, it was available in the BlizzCon 2011 PvP demo, and The Eliminator was able to try it out:[2]
