Terrify is a rune effect in Threatening Shout, a Fury-spending defense and control Barbarian skill.
This rune effect frightens enemies, adding a 35% chance that they'll flee for 2.5 seconds, just as character do from the Nightmarish Elite modifier, or monsters from the Horrify Witch Doctor skill.
Fleeing monsters stop attacking entirely and will only run. If they have no clear path to run they will simply stand still, allowing free hits to be landed on them.
