This rune effect was known as Equilibrium before it was renamed and modified in Patch v1.0.5.

Emberstrafe is a rune effect in Strafe, a Hatred-spending Demon Hunter skill.

This rune effect leaves a fire trail behind the Demon Hunter which deals 65% weapon damage per second for 2 seconds. Strafe is a little-used skill, chiefly because the Hatred cost is unsustainably high, but this v1.0.5 revision to the skill rune might make it a bit more viable by laying down the Blaze-like trail to add damage to pursuing enemies.

Skill Rune Effects

The following is a very quick summary. See the Strafe rune effects page for a more thorough description of rune effects, or any of the individual rune pages for numbers, screenshots, blue quotes, and much more.
