Covering Fire
Covering Fire is a rune effect in Evasive Fire, a Hatred-generating Demon Hunter skill that blends damage with evasion.
This rune effect retains the base skill function and upgrades the offense by firing three bolts instead of just one. Each bolt deals 125% weapon damage if they strike a target. The spread on the bolts is wide enough that no two will likely hit the same enemy.

Prior to the skill revision in February 2012, this rune effect was enabled by the Indigo Rune, granting the following effect with a level 7 runestone:
