Twin Chakrams

Twin Chakrams is a rune effect in Chakram, a Hatred-spending Demon Hunter skill.

This rune effect adds a second Chakram to the first, each of which deal 100% weapon damage to every target they encounter. Note that base Chakram is 150% damage, but this dual Chakram effect is the most popular of the various forms of Chakram and is the go-to AoE damage skill for many Demon hunter builds, since two of them provide much better hitting potential than a single erratic spinning star.

The two Chakrams exactly mirror each other in all movements. One appears on the Demon Hunter's left, the other to the right, and as they swirl out they overlap and cross in the center, then spin out to the sides again, and so on. Each chakram can deal the full 100% weapon damage to anything it touches, a chakram's looping path means it might hit the same monster more than once, and monsters take the full damage every time they are hit by each chakram.

As with all forms of Chakram, the individual damage is less than with many bow skills. The power of this skill and rune effect comes from the piercing of each Chakram and the ability to cast a great number of them in rapid succession, and this double barreled rune effect allows the player to create a great killing field of the glowing discs.
